دومين همايش ترجمه ادبی در ايران

به ياري خدا، دومين همايش ترجمه ادبي در ايران به دبيري دكتر علي خزاعي فر (صاحب امتياز نشريه مترجم) در مهرماه امسال در شهر مقدس مشهد برگزار خواهد شد

اين همايش با عنوان «ترجمه ادبي و زبان و ادب فارسي» در روزهاي ششم و هفتم مهرماه 1384 برگزار مي شود و مترجمان، نويسندگان و منتقدان ادبي را گرد هم خواهد آورد.موضوعات اين همايش عبارت اند از

زبان ترجمة ادبي، زبان تاليف ادبي؛ شباهت ها، تفاوت ها و تاثيرات متقابل*

جايگاه ترجمه ادبي در ادبيات ملي و تاثير متقابل آنها*

ملاك هاي نقد ترجمه ادبي*

كاركرد فرهنگي ترجمه ادبي*

تاثير نظريه هاي خواننده محور و فرهنگ محور بر ترجمه ادبي در ايران*

What is Literature ?

Literature is broadly defined as any written or spoken material, but the term most often refers to creative works. Literature includes poetry, drama, fiction, and many kinds of nonfiction writing, as well as oral, dramatic, and broadcast compositions not necessarily preserved in a written format, such as films and television programs.

Written works of fiction and nonfiction in which compositional excellence and advancement in the art of writing are higher priorities than are considerations of profit or commercial appeal.

Literature exists in two forms; oral (spoken or signed) and written. Examples of the oral literature in a spoken form are as follows:
Folklore scary camp stories
Poetry Double Dutch Skipping Rhymes
Examples of the written form are as follows:
novels The Lord of the Flies
poetry In Flanders Fields

Both oral and written literature require cultural harmony between the teller, the narrative, and the audience. Bahan (1991) quotes Edwards and Sienkewicz (1990) The teller and the audience must share a common cultural understanding of the literary work and its social context in order for it to be successful. Without the shared values, meaning and norms, the literature would not be understood. Literature has been a very important source for generations of children to acquire language, knowledge, values, morals, and experience of the world around them. It provides the foundation for developing literacy skills.
